　　Mostofushavedreamsaboutthefuture，dreamsofhavingagoodjobandmakingmuchmoney.Surelysomeonehasthoughtattimes“IfonlyIhadalotofmoney，Icouldbethehappiestpersonintheworld.”Infactit’sthemainmistakethatpeoplemakeaboutmoney.

　　However，ismoneytheroadtohappiness？Notreally！Manypeopleworkeveryday，workovertime，workweekendstomakealotofmoney.Aretheyhappy？No.Theyaretoobusymakingmoney.Meanwhile，theirpersonallives，iftheyhaveany，fallapart.Theyhavenotimetoformortomaintainfriendship.Theyevenlosetheabilitiestorelaxandtoenjoythemselves.Enjoyingmeanstakingthings，takingtimetosee，tohear，totaste，tosmell，tofeel.Theydonottaketimetodothis.Theysay:“I’lldoitwhenIhaveenoughmoneytoretire”thentheyfindthatitistoolate.

　　Whyweusuallymakesuchamistakeandevenmoremistakes？Activistssayitisbecauseofmoneyitself.Theythinkmoneyhaschangedmanythings.Forexample，theythinkmoneyhaschangedourwaytomeasuresomeone’svalueinthesociety.Theyevenregardmoneyasthesourceofevil.Also，theyhatemoney，buttheyarewrong，completelywrong.

　　Inmyopinion，itisunfairtomoney.Moneyisatool.Well，there’snodenyingthatwedosomethingharmfulwithmoney.Butwecan’tsaymoneyisthesourceofevil.Justlikeahammer，wecanuseahammertokillsomeone，butcanwesayahammerisadevil？Itisthesamewithmoney.

　　Moneyisneithergoodnorbaditself.Itisamirror，aperfectandimportantmirror，andamirrorthatreflectsboththedarknessandthebrillianceofhumanity.Inotherwords，alldependonus.

　　So，myfellowstudents，ladiesandgentlemeninthefuture，asknotwhatwecandoformoney，askwhatmoneycandoforus，askwhatmoneycandotoshowthebrillianceofhumanity.Because，wehavethefuture;wearethefuture.

　　Nodoubt“KyotoProtocol”isamodelofassemblingabilitiesallovertheworldtoadministerandgreen-housegaspollution.It’sbeyondtheeffortmadebypoliticiansandenvironmentalistsonly，andrequiresallmentoattendit.Facetosuchissues，wearenomorethanapersonwhocomesfromacertaincityevenaspecificcountry，butaglobalcitizenthateveryoneshouldsayitproudly.

　　Besides，fromMadamCurieswhoarguesthatscienceandtechnologyshouldnotbelimitedbynationalboundaries.Progreisneveranationality’soracountry’sprogre，itneedalltoavailfromit.Creatingorspreadingscienceandtechnology，togetherwithdirecteconomicsupport，bridgesthegapbetweenoneareaandanother，whichinordertohelpacreatureassameasourselvesorjustbecauseofdeepsympathy.Thusapersonexistsasindividual，aswellanundividedpartofhumanbeingsallovertheworld.Eventhoughwhatwecoulddomaybenegligible，doingsomethingwithoutregretisthenecessarywaytorealizeandfulfillourownglobalcitizenship.

　　Nowadays，terroristactssuggestthatworldlackscomprehension，andthedivergenceofreligionandcultureshouldberespect.Beingrespectfulforthediversityisalways.
